Yesterday I photographed a sweet proposal at the gorgeous Swan House in Buckhead. I had on my version of camo (army green pants and a grey top) and got to stake out in the bushes and capture everything. Always so much fun! Below are some of my favorites that we took right after Anna said yes. Thank you to Matt and Anna's family for having me shoot this special occasion. Hope you two enjoy and congratulations :)
Atlanta Wedding Photographer | Mollie Kate and Stephen
Here are a few of my favorites from Mollie Kate and Stephen's gorgeous summer wedding in Columbus, Georgia. I had a blast shooting for these two and their love for each other was so beautiful! Hope you enjoy.
boca grande beach film | personal
Summer is officially winding down, so I figured it was time to share some of the frames I shot while on vacation back in June. I've been visiting Boca Grande every year since I was seven, and every time I'm there I am refreshed and overtaken with the beauty of the sea. I've taken hundreds of photos of this special place, but these are some of my favorites. I recently bought a film camera to challenge myself and slow me down. Digital is great and I will always be shooting with that medium professionally, but going back to film and remembering "the old days" was really nostalgic and fun. I will say having to wait for the the scans was not fun :) I left not only being reflective and rested personally, but also professionally. I am overwhelmed with the power of capturing and creating with photography and will be forever grateful for this gift. If you see any frames that you would like to purchase, be sure to check out THE SHOP! I know I will need to print a few of these out to warm up my drafty office this winter ;)
Atlanta Food Photographer | Project Sip : Peach, Please!
Remember when Jenn Gietzen and I went to that peach farm? Well, we loved the peaches that we bought so much, that we decided to incorporate them into a summer cocktail. When we were developing the recipe, we decided that we wanted to start something we like to call Project Sip, because we realized that we both had a love for signature cocktails and fresh simple recipes.
We wanted to create a delicious cocktail with five or less ingredients, focusing on seasonal elements and flavors. Our hope is to create a collection of drinks celebrating the seasons throughout the year. Jenn and I will be co-creating the drinks, Jenn will be doing the recipe specifics and hand lettering, and I will be doing the styling and photography. We hope you are as excited about our new project as we are. You can see this recipe today featured on Design Sponge. Enjoy!
Special thanks to our lovely model, Candice Beaty!

Happy Tuesday everyone! Wanted to share these pretties that I shot for Waiting On Martha a few weeks ago. See more of Mandy's yummy recipe here.
Atlanta Wedding Photographer | Elizabeth and Andrew
"A wedding at home". There is something so special and intimate about getting married on family property and celebrating the most exciting day of your life in the comfort of your family's home. I immediately think of Father of the Bride and all of George Bank's crazy lines about the "Steak Pit" and swans in the bathtub and that last scene when George is trying to get to the front of the house for the send off - gut wrenching! Thankfully, the last wedding I shot at the bride's home had no glitches with the exit and had a gorgeous back drop to celebrate these two love birds! Both the ceremony and reception were at the bride's parents' gorgeous home in Buckhead. Below are a few of my favorite frames from their day. Elizabeth and Andrew, thank you for having me capture your beautiful wedding day!
